The Father Who Dwells Within He doth the Works

Did Jesus claim to be God? Though almost every organized group of the Christian persuasion will claim this, Jesus did not claim to be God. He said, of myself I can do nothing. He said, It is the Father within Who doth the works. What did He call Himself (over 60 times in the Gospels)? The Son of Man.
If He is God, then who will be the new Adam, to lead the perfect life and do the Father's will, to reconcile us to God?
