A Wonerful, Wonderful Book about Prayer

A free books about prayer. Beautifully written and full of optimism, this jewel is a must read for people who wonder if prayers are answered and for anyone who loves the topic of prayer.

It is called The Return of Prayers by Thomas Goodwin, and he lived between 1600 and 1680.  Read this to see just how optimistic and upbeat the Puritans were about God's work being carried out.

I read a passage from the book quoted in another fantastic book The Puritan Hope by Iain Murray.
The Puritan Hope is an exceptionally nice book, and it tells about the evangelical optimism of the Puritans.

How did I find out about Iain Murray and his great books. I heard him being interviewed on The Janet Mefferd Show.   But how did I find out about this particular book?  It was mentioned in a sermon by Dr. Peter Hammond, who can also tell you all about Africa and the famous  Dr. Livingston.
